Nouris El Bahr Ferries, the new shipping company to link Algeria and France

A new shipping company is preparing to ply the Mediterranean Sea, it is the newly formed Nouris El Bahr Ferries, flying the Algerian flag.
According to the first information released on its website, it is expected to operate from the end of August on the Bejaia – Marseille route .
Basically, it would be in charge of connecting Algeria and France, until now served by the companies Algerie Ferries e Corsica Linea.
According to Algerian press sources, confirmed by the Bejaia Port Authority, the new operator Nouris El Bahr Ferries will make its debut on August 23, running the first route the Bejaia port of call and the port of Marseille.

The route Bejaia – Marseille is an international route connecting North Africa to Europe, approximately 710kilometers
(440nautical miles ).

The new company Nouris El Bahr Ferries is expected to employ on this route the Cracovia, a ferry owned by Polferries, built in 2002 and renovated by the Polish company in 2017,capable of carrying 650 passengers, 64 cars and 124 trailers. On board the Krakow, passengers will find bars, restaurants, lounge areas, and various environments to spend any overnight trips such as private cabins, bunks, and reserved seats. Vehicle boarding, of course, will be allowed by reservation.
